Judith Fennell Ruffin
Judith Fennell Ruffin received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Spelman College, Atlanta, GA, and a Master of Music degree from Michigan State University. Her college experience also includes one year of study abroad in India.
Her professional experiences include a thirty-year career as a music educator in Aiken County, SC, a piano instructor, and a church organist. She has been active in many professional and civic organizations and boards including the Georgia Council for the Arts, Georgia Women of Achievement, Inc., the Augusta Symphony, the American Guild of Organists, the National Education Association, Barefoot Productions, Inc./ C.I., The Links, Inc., and the National Alumnae Association of Spelman College. She is a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, and serves as organist at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, both of Augusta, GA.
